Wine Critics Notes:
Allen Meadows - Score: 91(2014 February)
There is a deft touch of wood setting off the mildly exotic aromas of both notably ripe but fresh white and yellow orchard fruit aromas that display hints of Asian style tea. There is excellent concentration to the fleshy and generously proportioned medium-bodied flavors that brim with palate coating dry extract before concluding in a powerful, focused and balanced finish that delivers unexpectedly good persistence for a villages level wine on the sneaky long finish. This is a really lovely effort that despite still being on the way up could actually be enjoyed now if desired.
